  Thank you for accessing my business profile. The years of a soft economy gave those of us who want to be agents for change a wonderful opportunity. In late 2006, sensing a downturn in our market, I left my large and expensive franchise brokerage to join the independent, privately owned Drake Realty of Greater Atlanta, inc. It was critical to leave the overhead and bureaucracy of the BIG mega brokerage in order to introduce a full service Internet driven business model coupled with a discount commission for my home sellers. Later I added home buyer rebates to my services. 


Do you know where your 6% commission actually goes?

 

  If QUALITY service at a very low price to the consumer is the ideal real estate business model, then BIG can never compete with the quality of one dedicated agent. The more people BIG adds to the team, the more inefficient, disfunctional and expensive the process becomes! 

The consumer suffers from confusing team transaction management, communications, and the in-depth knowledge of the entire transaction. There is also the issue of confidentiality.

 

Corporations, franchisers, and relocation companies have resulted in the equivalent of the real estate middle man. Industry giants have forced agents to participate in a form of sanctioned consumer extortion. The end result is less ability to negotiate their commissions, since their brokerages pay such high fees to their corporate infrastructure.

 

The primary reasons you would ask me to represent you in your home sale or search are: I have impeccable integrity, I play by the rules (and there are a lot of them); I am smart (Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Georgia), well trained, and I know my market. I protect my clients' interests and create significant added value for them with well practiced expertise.

I am expert at pre-inspection prep and counseling buyers about issues in both resale and new construction. I have earned the GRI, ABR, and in 2010 the Crystal Phoenix Award for 15 successive Million Dollar Clubs. I am a Multi-Million Dollar Club member in the Cobb Association of Realtors® 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and again in 2013.

 

My primary markets are East Cobb, North Fulton, Cherokee and Fulton County. I live just off Roswell Square, adjacent to the beautiful ante-bellum Historic district, above the Chattahoochee River. This is the perfect location for my service.  

  

I am an active Senior, thus helping other Seniors relocate to the Atlanta area is one of my favorite real estate activities. My personal times are spent with my husband, my sweet West Highland Terriers and my busy 97 year old mother. Our daughter graduated from Pace Academy in Buckhead, Davidson College in Davidson, North Carolina and USC Columbia Law School. She is an attorney is South Carolina. She is also a singer and songwriter, with a new CD (Walls), available on CD Baby Itunes, and many other outlets. 

 

My stepson, Eric, and fiance' Denny have opened Iron Gait Percherons in Waleska, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Percheron draft horses and ponies as well as other horses that have been abused, neglected, and abandoned. They rehabilitate and find a home for these horses with the help of a large and dedicated group of volunteers.
